Product: HP 15s-eq1000 Laptop PC (1E870AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have a relatively new laptop that I have connected to an external hard drive on which I have pictures stored. The problem is that when I go to work with the pictures (change names) the laptop connection is very slow, i.e. I can change the name of a photo and it can take several seconds for the change to progress - I get a "Not Responding" message. Its as though the laptop forgets it is connected to the external hard drive. My previous 5-year old ASUS laptop connected to the same external hard drive was much quicker.
Hoping someone can help me - it is a frustrating problem.
Thanks
Laso1
