Terrible slow wifi download speed , 2-3 mbps.  A 6 year old Lenovo Thinkpad is downloading at 60mbps sitting right beside the Envy.   Tried everything I cvould find on the net.  Do I need to send this thing back to HP ?  Only 6 mons old.

@Kennnnnnny
Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

I see that you're experiencing slow wireless connectivity issue with HP computer. They may be allowing full speed traffic to benchmark sites while artificially squeezing anything else to slower speeds or They could be on a slower connection.

I’d like additional information in order to troubleshoot:

  • When was the last time it worked fine?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?
  • Have you tried with different sites?
  • What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824 (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).

Keep me posted for further assistance
