so it says im connected and everyting, but the sound is still coming out of the computer

Please try
(a) Right click Speaker icon (bottom right corner),
(b) Select Playback devices,
(c) Can you see the device on the list ?
+ If Yes, right click and enable it,
+ If No, you have to ask vendor for a driver for it and install on your machine.
