Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Every time I open my laptop all devices are disconnected from the wifi. Eventually the Wifi is restored after a few minutes but it is still pretty annoying.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

1.      Press Windows key + X, and then click on ControlPanel.

2.      In the search box, type adapter, and then, under Network and Sharing Center, click View network connections.

3.      Right-click the Connection and then click Properties. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

4.      Under Networking tab, click Configure.

5.       Click the Power Management tab, clear the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power check box, and then click OK.

If the issue still persists, try this:

1) In the search box on the taskbar, type Device Manager, and then select Device Manager from the list of results.

2) In Device Manager, expand Network Adapters,.

3) Right-click on the driver ending with 8265, and then select Uninstall device > Delete the driver software for this device check box > Uninstall.

4) Restart the computer.

Let me know if this helps.

Hey Betty,

I do not have a driver ending in 8265. I do have a realtek RTL8822CE 802.11ac PCle Adaptor. Is that it?

HP Recommended

Is that the only driver available?
