Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

I connected Thunderbolt dock G4 to M1 apple macbook 16 and it worked the first time i connected.

Then i moved the dock thunderbolt wire from right side to left side of the laptop and network stopped working through the dock.  I removed the dock ethernet network service and i cannot add it anymore.  It just does not appear, but it works with Windows laptop.  Anyone knows how to troubleshot it to check if the ethernet card hardware shows in the system when dock is plugged in.  It might be that some module need to be reset for the ethernet card driver to be recognized again.

Not sure how to troubleshoot those issues in mac os.  I cannot find any relevant logs pointing to the issue.

Mac is running the Ventura OS.
