Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Yesterday, I received my new Pavilion and wish to transfer my information from my old Pavilion to the new Pavilion.  My old Pavilion has an external backup 2TB WD MyPassport.  I also have a license for my MS Office Home 2016.

I did some research and downloaded Aomei Backupper Standard (free version) but haven't done anything with it because I wasn't sure I need to use it.  I got confused with the term clone because I'm not sure the two laptops have the same drivers.  If the new laptop has different drivers, I don't know if the clone will work.  I decided to stop and ask the community what is the best way to transfer information from one laptop to another?

There are few ways

If old PC also used Windows 10, cloning using Aomei Backuper Standard or similar products is a quick way to copy over.

Regards.
