I just purchased this laptop HP 15.6" FHD Business Laptop, Intel Core i5-1135G7, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB PCIe SSD, Intel Iris Xe Graphics, Numpad, Webcam, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, Silver, Win 11

Is it possible to upgrade the WIFI card on this unit to at least 6e?

What model Wi-Fi card does it have now?

 

If it has a RTL8821CE Wi-Fi card, you won't be able to update to a better card unless you order the dual antenna kit listed in chapter 3 of the service manual for your model notebook, and completely disassemble it including the display panel to add the second Wi-Fi antenna wire a Wi-Fi 6E card would need.
