i need to change my mac address to connect to my Wi-Fi .But  my adapter is refusing to do so. I tried every method possible available on internet nothing is working i tried the same method on my friends laptop with another adapter from mediatech it is working flawlessly. please help me

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you. 

 

I see that you are facing issues with MAC address.

Open Command Prompt
Type ipconfig/all
and Enter

You will get a Physical address under Wireless LAN adapter WiFi details which is your MAC address.
