Product: HP Pavilion dm1-3040ca Entertainment Notebook PC

Hello!  I realize this is a very old laptop, but I wiped it clean in order to configure it and give it to a needy person.  Before hand, the laptop was completely updated in windows 10 64 bit, and everything worked well, including bluetooth.  Since the re configuration, bluetooth no longer works although all the generic microsoft drivers are up to date.  When I try to detect a device to pair with, it does not detect anything, although there are a number of devices around my house that are easily detected by my desktop, my other laptop and my phone.  thank you for your help

Hi:

 

Unfortunately, there is no W10 Ralink Bluetooth driver support for the model Wi-Fi adapter the notebook came with.

 

There was only W7 BT driver support for it.

 

This reputable 3rd party website has the driver for W7, but I am 99% sure it won't work on W10.
