Hi there. I want to upgrade my wifi board. I need a dual band usb wifi adapter or can I change the internal? Please give me a hand. Best.

Hi:

 

I am pretty sure that your notebook only has one wifi antenna cable connected to the Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11bgn Wi-Fi adapter it has now.

 

If you want to upgrade to an internal dual band card you should be able to upgrade to this one, but with only one antenna cable the Bluetooth will not work.

 

Broadcom BCM943228HMB 802.11abgn 2×2 Wi-Fi Adapter, Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter   HP Part # 730668-001

 

You should be able to find the card on eBay or Ali Express.

Otherwise you can purchase an external USB dual band wifi adapter.

 

They actually make some pretty small ones that also have Bluetooth as well as wifi...
