HP Notebook - 15-be001tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I am planning to upgrade the wifi adopter Product number: W6T28PA#ACJ, Model  HP Notebook - 15-be001tx from the existing  RTL 8723BE to any compatible dual-band PCI-E WLAN card.  Currently, I have ordered Intel Dual Band Wireless- Ac 8265 w/ Bluetooth 8265.NGWMG. Will this work or please suggest any compatible dual-band card.

Any Help is highly appreciated, Thank you!

Hi:

It might work, but the problem you are going to discover is the Intel card you ordered requires two antenna wires be connected to it in order to work properly and your notebook will only have one.

So, the only suggestion I can offer would be to connect the single antenna wire to the Auxiliary terminal on the wifi card, so that the Bluetooth works.

You may not get the best wifi reception with only one antenna wire.

So try out the card, and if it works to your satisfaction, great.

If not, see if you can get this dual band AC card that was designed to work with one antenna wire.

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.

The card has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz wifi band with an AC router and an excellent signal.

You can find this model on eBay, or Ali Express.

I see some Intel 3165 cards listed on the eBay listings, so don't buy those.

RTL8821CE - Buy RTL8821CE with free shipping on AliExpress

On the Ali Express listings, make sure the card has the HP Part # of 915620-001.

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure.
