hi,

just wanted to see if someone can help me find the best wi-fi and Bluetooth card compatible for this laptop.  Please and thank you .

Currently has-

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11b/g/n/ac (1x1) and Bluetooth® 4.2 Combo

          Realtek RTL8822BE 802.11ac 2 × 2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 (MU-MIMO supported) part # 924813-855

Note that the Realtek RTL8822BE requires two wifi antenna cables be attached to the card for it to work properly, and yours only has one.

 

I think the wifi might work OK, but you will not have Bluetooth if that matters to you.

The WiFi card your notebook has installed now is the best one available if you want Bluetooth.

I just didn't want you to go through all the trouble of upgrading the card, only to find that the Bluetooth wouldn't work.

Another option is to install a second antenna cable inside the laptop, so that you get both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth - however this will be more work and hassle to install.
