Hello,
I would like to know if I am able to update from a 2.4 ghz wifi card to a 5 ghz card. My current network adaptor is a Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11 bgn.

What is the exact model of your laptop (e.g. 5ES85EA)?

The Realtek RTL8723BE is an 802.11bgn 2.4 GHz single-chip that integrates Wireless LAN (WLAN) and a network PCIe interface controller with integrated Bluetooth 2.1/3.0/4.0 controller. This wireless module supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band only.
