08-26-2020 07:45 PM

Can i use 'Intel Wireless-AC 7260HMW Network Card Half Mini PCIe Wifi Card Bluetooth 4.0' to replace the Ralink rt5390r in my laptop? If not can you recommend a good dual band card to replace it with.

@Jack_62, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Below is the list of supported and teste WLAN formats for your computer-
- Atheros WB225 1×1 802.11b/g/n Bluetooth Combo Adapter
- Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 WLAN module
- Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 WLAN module
- Ralink RT3290LE 802.11b/g/n 1×1 WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 Combo Adapter
- Ralink RT5390R 802.11b/g/n 1×1 WiFi Adapter
You can use the Intel Wireless-AC 7260HMW Network Card Half Mini PCIe Wifi Card Bluetooth 4.0, but since it is not tested, it may or may not work.
Check with the nearest service center before you proceed.
