Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear Evertone,

I have a hp dv6-3190ed pavillion laptop and would like to upgrade the wifi card.

I would like to buy one with dual band frequency and ofcourse with I integrated bluetooth.

Does someone have any clue which brand and which nee available pci card will work on my laptop.

Or can HP provide a list of all the compatible new network card available in the market?

Thank you very much.

@Nasir91 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you would like to upgrade the Wifi card.

I have checked the manual.

Integrated wireless local area network (WLAN) options by way of the wireless module:

Atheros AR9285 802.11b/g/n 1x1 WLAN module

Ralink RT3090BC4 802.11b/g/n 1x1 WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR Combo Adapter

Intel® Centrino® Advanced–N + WiMAX 6250 WLAN module

Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000 802.11b/g/n 1x2

Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n 1x1 WLAN module

Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n 1x1 WiFi and 2070 Bluetooth 2.1+EDR Combo Adapter

Broadcom 43225 802.11b/g/n WLAN module Broadcom 43224 802.11a/b/g/n 2x2 WLAN module

Broadcom 43224 802.11a/b/g/n 2x2 WLAN module

In that case, I would suggets you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.
