Hi, I'm bought Omen 16-wf0030nt a month ago. I'm having latency problems with the pre installed wifi card RTL8852CE. I want to upgrade it to a Intel one. But I don't know which one are compatible with my laptop.
Specs:
i5-13500HX
2x8gb ddr5 4800
rtx 4060 140w
512gb gen4 nvme ssd
Realtek RTL8852CE Wi-fi card.
The wifi card options that I'm planning to buy:
Intel AX211NGW
Intel AX210NGW
Intel AX411NGW - Killer AX1690i
Intel BE200NGW Wifi 7

Hi:
The service manual indicates that only two Wi-Fi cards were offered in the model series:
Intel AX211 Wi-Fi 6E Bluetooth 5.3 WLAN M53366-005
Realtek 8852CE Wi-Fi 6E Bluetooth 5.3 WLAN N19618-005
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
It has been my experience from reading posts from other forum members that try to install an Intel CNVI card such as the AX211, that they never work.
What Are the Intel® Integrated Connectivity (CNVi) and Companion...
That leads me to believe that they only work as replacement cards if the notebook originally came with one.
I think your best option for a Wi-Fi 6E card would be this one:
Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E 2x2 AX + Bluetooth 5.2 M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # M27269-005
