Can I replace my burned WIFI Adapter by other Mini PCI Express WIFI Adapter in HP Laptop? And bonus question: what WIFI Adapter is placed in HP Pavilion g7-2363er laptop?

Hi:

I cannot find any specs on your PC, and no one can answer your second question because that info is not available online.

What processor and chipset does your notebook have?

Once you let me know that, I will give you a suggested wifi card replacement, that is better than the one that died on you.

Processor is i5 3230m and motherboard is Hewlett-Packard 1842 (U3E1)

OK, thanks.

Here is the replacement wifi adapter I recommend for you based on the information you provided...

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0    HP Part # 710661-001

The card is readily available on eBay or Amazon, and doesn't cost much at all.

Do your search by the HP part number, not by the model number of the wireless card.
