Hello, I have the Ryzen 7 Pavillion 15 with the Realtek RTL8852AE adapter.
WiFi automatically disconnects multiple times daily, does not show networks or does not connect to any networks until the laptop is restarted.
I have tried every option you can think of, tried the latest drivers, old drivers, bios update, etc. But the problem is with the HARDWARE - the RealTek Adapter.
Please suggest if I can replace the WiFi card with any other Intel wifi card. I have no idea which cards would be compatible with Ryzen 7.
Any leads would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hi:
Yes, you should be able to replace that lousy card with this Intel model and part number which is the same card HP installed in my HP Envy notebook with a Ryzen 5 4500U processor.
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # L35282-005
You must get the part number listed, or at least buy the card with that SPS part number on the Intel label.
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure.

Have you tried the latest Wi-Fi driver for that model card?
Maybe by some miracle it will help.

Thank you so much for the reply!
How sure are you that the card you mentioned will work for a Ryzen 7 4800h? If its guaranteed, I will ask my friend to get it from US when he's coming to my country. Its 1/3rd the price there. (https://www.ebay.com/itm/284576897876)

You're very welcome.
Unfortunately, I cannot 100% guarantee it, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.
The problem is...HP does not have a service manual for the 15-ec2000 model series.
My notebook's service manual has that model card and part number listed as supported.
This is the closest discussion I can find that regarding the Intel Ax200 in a 15-ec2000 model series.

Hi Paul, I was going to order the card you mentioned. I found a very similar one on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Intel-Dual-Band-Wireless-AX200NGW/dp/B07V9N9XVJ
The T PN is the same but the SPS number ends with 0A instead of 0B in the one you mentioned. Will this amazon one work or do I need the exact one on available in ebay only?

Hi Paul, I had a quick question
Could you please tell me if this card I found on amazon would work? https://www.amazon.com/Intel-Dual-Band-Wireless-AX200NGW/dp/B07V9N9XVJ
The T PN is the same, but the SPS ends with 0A instead of 0B in the exact HP part number you mentioned on ebay.
