Hello

 

Can i change wi-fi divice on this laptop HP Pavilion 17-f053ca 17 and to put some that can suport 5g wi-fi?

Hi:

 

You can if it has two antenna cables connected to the wifi adapter in there now.

 

If not, then you won't be able to, because a dual band wifi card will need two antenna cables connected in order to work right.

 

Here is the link to the service manual for your notebook, if you want to open it up and check.

 

The wifi card R & R procedure can be found in chapter 6.
