HP Envy X360 13-bd0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi!

Recently bought brand new HP Envy X360 with genuine windows 10. The problem is whenever I put the laptop in sleep mode WIFI stops running and after waking up the system it takes at least 5-7 minutes to reconnect again to the WIFI after showing multiple instances of connecting and disconnecting. Messages often displayed are no-internet XYZ. However; the  WIFI connection on other devices remains stable and don't disconnect as being put on auto-reconnect.

The network is on this device is also put on auto-reconnect mode but to no avail.

Once the connection is established it remains stable throughout till the system is on sleep mode.

Tried almost every trick found on the internet but to no avail.

kindly suggest something to clear this issue once for all.

I want the WIFI connection to remain intact, keep running in the background till I shut down the system or disconnect the network myself.

Regards!

You have to tell it to keep running when sleep. Please use the following steps

  • Go to Device Manager,
  • Expand Network adapters,
  • Right Wireless Adapter and Select properties,
  • Go to Power Management tab,
  • Untick Allow computer to turn off    .....,
  • Click OK/Apply to get out.

Regards

Hi!

Thanks for your response. But unfortunately, I don't find any 'Power Management Tab' after reaching the adapter option and clicking its properties!

Kindly suggest otherwise!
