Hey,

I have recently shifted from Windows 10 to Ubuntu 18.04. Since then my laptop cannot connect to wireless network whereas the wired connection works fine. Every time I try to connect to Wi-Fi ,I get this error message "No Wi-Fi Adapter Found".

Screenshot from 2019-07-29 18-47-24.png

Wi-Fi worked fine when I used Windows 10. Can anyone please help  me fix this issue?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi:

I'm pretty sure the Realtek 8723DE wifi adapter your notebook has is not compatible with Ubuntu.

I suggest you visit an Ubuntu forum and see if there are any workarounds or fixes to get that card to work on Ubuntu.

I tried implementing this solution. But it didn't work. Any other suggestions?

Anyway, Thanks for replying.

Unfortunately, I don't.

See if there is any newer info you can find on the Ubuntu forum, or post your question there.

Okay, Thanks anyway!

Anytime.

If you can get that wifi adapter to work in Ubuntu, please let us know how.

It may help others that want to do the same thing.
