Want to upgrade my 2.4 Ghz wifi card to 5 Ghz wifi card

Hi Folks,

 

I want to upgrade the wifi card of my laptop to a 5ghz card. Currently my laptop's wifi card only supports the 2.4ghz.

My Laptop model is HP 15-ab219tx. And having a realtek wifi card rlt8723be.

 

Can you please suggest the dual band wifi card which support my laptops hardware. I have intel 8265 in my mind. Will it support laptops hardware? buying links are welcomed.

Want to upgrade my 2.4 Ghz wifi card to 5 Ghz wifi card

Hi:

 

Since your notebook only has one antenna cable, you can only upgrade to this model wifi card...

 

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.

This card works with only one antenna.

 

You may be able to get it at the HP parts store...

The Realtek 8821CE wifi card will have a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz wifi band with an AC router.
