Is it possible to replace my computer's wifi card?

I have a REALTEK 8723BE board

My pc is HP 17-xl102nl

Hi:

You will have to open up the notebook and see how many antenna wires are connected to the Realtek RTL8723BE card in there now.

Usually there is only one antenna wire connected to the Realtek 8723BE card, but on a few rare instances some models have two antenna cables connected to it.

If there is only one antenna wire, then you are limited to this card...

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.

You can find this model on eBay, Ali Express, or the HP parts store has it for 14.41 Euros.

The card has the same throughput as the RTL8723BE card on the 2.4 GHz wifi band, but on the 5.0 GHz wifi band with an AC router, it has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS.

If there are two antenna wires connected to the RTL8723BE, you should be able to upgrade to the Intel 9260 AC card non-vPro.

The Intel 9560 AC card will not work.

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure...
