When I connect an external monitor to my laptop via a HMDI usb hub, the wifi connection drops out

Hi

When I connect a second display to my laptop using a HMDI hub - the wifi connection doesn't work and the internet won't load.  Initially at first it was intermittent or very slow to load, but now there is no wifi at all.  It doesn't say that there is a problem with the wifi connection though.

As soon as I unplug the hub port - the internet is fine again.

Thanks

What is your USB hub ? Is it compatible with your computer ?

Regards.
