The parts list for your notebook indicates it has an Intel 7265 AC Wi-Fi adapter, which was the best model Wi-Fi adapter HP offered in the model series.
The only suggestion I can offer other than experimenting with installing a newer model Wi-Fi adapter would be to install the latest Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers directly from the Intel website:
Intel® Wireless Wi-Fi Drivers for Wireless-AC 7265 (Rev. D), 3168 and 3165
Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® Drivers for Wireless-AC 7265 (Rev. D), 3168 and 3165
If that doesn't resolve the problem, you can see if installing this model Wi-Fi adapter works in your notebook:
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 non-vPro HP part # L35282-005
