Wi-Fi adapter sopped working so I have been using a temporary USB one. It is not cutting it. Already tried reinstalling the driver for the internet. Did not work.

The only suggestion I can offer other than experimenting with installing a newer model Wi-Fi adapter would be to install the latest Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers directly from the Intel website:

Intel® Wireless Wi-Fi Drivers for Wireless-AC 7265 (Rev. D), 3168 and 3165

Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® Drivers for Wireless-AC 7265 (Rev. D), 3168 and 3165

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 non-vPro  HP part # L35282-005

The first link you provided can not be installed on my device. The second one can but it did not work. The third one did not appear as a link and I could not find it either.
