Hello, everybody,
i also own a HP Gaming Pavilion 15 laptop with the same Realtek PCIe adapter. I installed the driver already mentioned in the previous post and unfortunately it didn't help.
It all started with me having an integrity problem with Microsoft Wifi Direct Virtual Adapters. This was displayed as faulty. The device was uninstalled and there has still been no improvement. The restoration of the adapter did not work either.
The Wifi itself is error free and other devices can be connected to it without problems.
I ask for your help. Meanwhile I am so far that I write into a forum.
My machine:
HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-cx0xxx
64 bit windows OS
REaltek device: RTL8822BE 802. 11ac PCIe Adapter
Realtek driver version: 2024.0.9.103
Best regards

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I recommend you run a test on the wireless card to make sure that it is not a hardware issue.
Follow the steps in the below video to perform a test on the wireless card.

Well met Fossette,
well first things first: Thanks a lot for the fast reply (and ahead: very helpful reply). I checked the service you mentioned and did the overall system test as well as the wifi component test - both were successful. That was for me great to hear.
Back to the issue: after a day without using the machine the problem solved more or less itself. But the next day it was there again. So what I did in additon to my previous bugfixing approaches were, that I also updated the graphics driver to its newest version as well as deactivated the windows virtual adapter. So far everything is working fine again.
I really can recommend the HP system test service because finding a hardwar issue itself with precise component testing always came with more effort than with these service.
Thanks for the great support and so far for the great machine!
Best regards
