I use Comcast and have a 1,2 GB plan. I have an HP Pavilion. I use an Arris Wifi Router. Problem is that when I am directly hooked up using a network cable to Arris, all is good (over 900 mbs) when speed tested. However, once I am in WIFI mode using 5G or 2G the speedtest it is only at most 150 mbs. Called Arris, who sent me to Comcast when then sent me back after they did their tests. Cleared out the Cache and went on HP ran all the diagnostics tool stuff. All good and passed
I have other computers on the wifi and they get the 700 -1000 MBS when speed tested,
HELP

What is your machine ? Definitely it only has a slow wifi adapter. Depending on how old is your machine you may be able to replace existing adapter with a better one.
Regards.
