Hi:
Your notebook's Realtek RTL8723BE Wi-Fi adapter is a single band Wi-Fi adapter that only works on the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band.
In order to connect to the 5.0 GHz band, you will either need to replace the internal Realtek Wi-Fi card with this one:
Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac 1 × 1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter HP part # L17365-005
Or purchase a USB dual band Wi-Fi adapter.
