Wi-fi connection drops from NEW HP latptop

HP Laptop - 15z-ef100 CTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The HP laptop that I ordered in May of '21 (which took HP four months to ship) drops the wi-fi connection unless I'm sitting next to my router. It has the crappy RealTek 8822CE adpater with the current driver (2024.0.10.223). I've had it serviced three times. It has been to HP's service center in California twice, and HP sent a tech to my house to install a new RealTek card. It worked for a few minutes, so the tech and I thought the problem was solved. The next day, it was back to the same issue. HP refuses to acknowledge that there's a problem (in spite of the fact that I have shared statements from this forum with them). Is there a solution or do I have to give up and buy a different brand of adapter?

I want to thank you for taking the time to speak to us today.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that
here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.

Is HP is willing to send me a new unit or install something other than the RealTek card? If not, I’ll be stuck at square one. I’ve written two letters to Alex Cho about this. Hopefully, one of his staff will read them and bring this matter to his attention.
