My hp pavilion-detachable has been left and I recently wanted to start using it again and I had to reset it in recovery because I lost the password but I can’t use it because it just won’t find my house WiFi or my personal hotspot but can detect my next door neighbour and galaxy phones if anyone can reach out I would appreciate it so much thank you.

Hello.

Do any other computers or phones connect to your household wifi?

Some laptops are restricted to only 2.4GHz wireless. If you have disabled 2.4GHz radio on the wireless access point, then a laptop without 5GHz radio will not see your network.

Possible other reasons could be using wireless channels 12-14 on 2.4GHz that may not be supported on the Pavilion. Try changing the channel to 1-11.
