Hp Envy Laptop 13-aq0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

In the past few weeks, I have noticed that the internet speed on my laptop is very slow. Its almost impossible to download large files and lots of buffering occurs when watching videos. My laptop is still under warranty. I called customer support and they told me that nothing could be done as of now due to Covid-19. I have tried many solutions with no success.

What EXACTLY is your Hp Envy Laptop 13-aq0xxx  ? It may only have slow wifi adapter.  Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

Your machine actually is an HP ENVY - 13-aq0011ms, its specs

        https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06308307

It has  Intel® Wireless-AC 9560 802.11 b/g/n/ac (2x2) Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 5 Combo (Gigabit Wi-Fi® speed) which is a good wifi card. Please try

(a) Download following drivers and save on your computer

       - Wifi :   https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp99001-99500/sp99225.exe

       - BT:      https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp100001-100500/sp100382.exe

(b) Go to Device Manager to uninstall Wifi  adapter (you can do BT later), then reboot machine

(c) Right click downloaded file (wifi) and select run as Administrator then reboot

Hope this fixes the problem. You can install BT any time you wish

Regards.
