HP Recommended

Having a hard time connecting to my internet/wifi. The problem happened out of nowhere! It states that I am “connected using a virtual network adapter that we can’t test?” I have tried to do numerous steps to fix this and don’t understand how it just happens over night. It’s a HP Stream 11 laptop. Please help with any more suggestions on how to connect back to the internet/wifi.
