Hello
I purchased this pc about two months ago and for a couple of weeks the pc continues to automatically disconnect from the Internet.
The only way to connect it is to do (Troubleshooting) and i always get this writing.
(A network cable is damaged or disconnected)
I updated the drivers and i also removed the energy saving of the wireless card. (Device management)
I have tried everything but it continues to disconnect from the network.
(My connection works great on other devices)
I tried using the command prompt to fix the network card and it is working for the moment...
But if it doesn't work, what should I do?
ps. Sorry for my bad english

Hi @Axellear
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Try these steps -
Step 1 Network Troubleshooter -
1) In the search box, type and open "Troubleshooter".
2) Click on "Network and Internet".
3) Click on "Internet Connections".
Step 2 Run Network commands -
1) In the search box on the taskbar, type Command prompt, press and hold (or right-click) Command prompt, and then select Run as administrator > Yes.
2) At the command prompt, run the following commands in the listed order, and then check to see if that fixes your connection problem:
Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
Type netsh int ip reset and press Enter.
Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
Step 3 Re-install the Network Adapter -
1) In the search box on the taskbar, type Device Manager, and then select Device Manager from the list of results.
2) In Device Manager, select Network adapters > the network adapter name.
3) Right-click on the network adapter, and then select Uninstall device > Delete the driver software for this device check box > Uninstall.
4) Restart the computer.
Download and install the BIOS from this link.
If the issue still persists, test the hardware -
1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.
3) Press F2 once.
4) Go to Component test.
5) From the list, run the Wireless Module test.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
