Wifi/BT card for Pavilion G7-1270ca

HP Recommended
Pavilion G7 1270ca
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi!

I tried to upgrade my original wifi card with a Intel Centrino N2230 card as the Maintenance and Service Guide (c03593672.pdf) indicate it was supported but i got the error message at startup "not supported".

What's wrong?

Are you sure you have a right manual, Its home page does NOT have something called Maintenance and Service Guide :

     https://support.hp.com/ca-en/product/hp-pavilion-g7-1200-notebook-pc-series/5145712/model/5189554/ma...

Anyway, did you buy the RIGHT part number which is 670290-001 ?

Please update BIOS from

         https://support.hp.com/ca-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-g7-1200-notebook-pc-series/5145712/mode...

then try again. Note no newer BIOS for Windows 10.

Regards.

Thank's or your help. I effectively got the wrong Manual. I found this one: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02834058. Do you think it's the good one?
