Hello Community,
I want to replace the wifi chip from my notebook (realtek) to something from intel. I tried already the Intel 9260NGW. Bluetooth seemed to work, but not the Wifi. Is there some whitelist I need to know?
I want to build in a wlan card, that is supported by FreeBSD.
Thank you very much.

Hi:
The 9260NGW Wi-Fi adapter probably does not work with AMD platforms.
HP only has the service manual for the older 14-f0xxx notebooks with the Ryzen 4xxx processors.
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
I recommend that you limit your choices to the Wi-Fi cards listed in chapter 3 of the service manual.
I don't know if the below model wifi card is supported for FreeBSD though.
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 802.11ax 2 × 2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 5 (non-vPro) L35282-005.
Search by the HP part number, because if you get a vPro card it will not work.
