HP Envy x360

I have an HP Envy x360 laptop running Linux Mint. (I already asked the Linux Mint folks about this and it doesn't seem to be an issue on the operating system's end.) Every time that I complete any of the following actions, both the bluetooth and wifi disconnect, start reconnecting for a few seconds (sometimes successfully), and then disconnect again and have to be manually reconnected:

  • waking the laptop from sleep (regardless of whether I initiated sleep by closing the screen or manually)
  • turning the laptop upside down or sideways (to the point where the screen would rotate if I had auto-rotate on)
  • folding the screen back to form a tablet
  • unfolding the screen to become a laptop again

I've found several similar issues, but all claim that they couldn't reconnect without restarting the computer, which isn't the case for me: I can reconnect perfectly well, it's just disruptive to have to do so regularly (especially when my audio has just suddenly cut out because I folded the screen back and now I'm not connected anymore). I'd be fine with turning off the internal gyro entirely (don't think I'll ever need it) to solve the second bulletpoint if there's an option to do that, but I can't think of any easy workarounds for the others.
