Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

The blue wifi light on my printer is blinking. When I click on the wireless setup wizard, it doesn't recognize the router. It doesn't show my wifi network even when I enter it manually. I reset the wifi and turned the printer on and off. Because the printer won't connect to wifi, I can't troubleshoot using the HP app. I tried resetting to factory settings and that didn't help either. The wifi is on 5G.

The specs of your printer is:

         https://www.hp.com/us-en/printers/product-details/product-specifications/11161266

It ONLY has  built-in WiFi 802.11b/g/n which does not support 5.0GHz networks. Please allow your wifi router to broadcast dual bands (2.4GHz and 5.0GHz). Your printer can "see" 2.4GHz SSID and allow you to connect.

Regards.

Thank you for your reply. The router does broadcast in both bands 2.4 and 5 G. The printer was recognizing the wifi network until Thursday.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Thank you,

Kate
