Can your machine "see" your SSID ?
If No, Your machine only has 802.11b/g/n (1x1) and Bluetooth 4.0 combo adapter that means it can't "see" 5.0GHz networks. You have to allow your router to broadcast dual bands to be able your machine to see 2.4GHz network.
