Solved!

Wifi connectivity

HP Recommended
Pavilion g7-1311nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop can't see my wifi. It can see everybody else's wifi in my apartment complex, but it won't see mine. My other laptops and devices around my home sees my wifi and connects with no issue. My router is the xfinity gateway xb-7. I logged into my router with my phone and it's broadcasting my network. The router is a wifi 6.

Your machine is too old, I can't even find its Official specs, only

         https://mobilespecs.net/laptop/HP/HP_Pavilion_g7-1311nr.html

It has IEEE 802.11b/g/n wifi adapter which can only see 2.4GHz networks. It is too old to change/upgrade the wifi card. Please try USB wifi adapter, gor example

Thank you. I looked into it more and it's a feature inside the xb7 that xfinity has locked and can't change it. So my only option is to buy a USB wifi adapter.
