Hello, I have had this problem for months. After I had my laptop's windows reinstalled My Wifi Driver has dissapeared. There is only Ethernet option in adapter settings, and there is no wireless driver in Device Manager. Please tell me how could I fix this problem and install the drivers which are needed for wifi.

Hi:

 

From what you have posted, it appears that one of two things is the cause of your dilemma.

 

1.  You need to install the HP connection manager software, restart the PC and turn the wifi adapter on using the connection manager software.

 

This package provides the HP Connection Manager for the supported notebook models and operating systems.

2. If the HP connection manager software cannot find the wifi adapter, then most likely it has suffered a hardware failure.
