I have had the laptop 2 months and i thought it was maybe my internet, but whenever i try browsing the internet the page either loads straight away or says "hmmmm...oups page can't be reached". It isn't really slow it just always brings that up and it makes searching the internet extremely difficult - which is all i bought the laptop for. It isn't my internet as everyone else i live with has fine connection on their phones, laptops and tablets (one of which is also HP). I have tried all the troubleshoot solutions and the solutions on the HP website but nothing works. Please help, what do you think could be wrong?

Welcome to HP Support Community,
Please provide us with the correct product number of your notebook for better assisting you.
Let's start off by performing a Hard reset on the notebook:
Before power resetting your computer, do the following:
-
Disconnect or remove all peripheral devices. Start up the laptop and test the computer by itself, and then reconnect one peripheral device at a time.
-
Turn over the computer and look for a battery compartment door.
-
If there is a battery compartment, use the steps in Reset a laptop with a removable battery.
-
If there is no battery compartment, use the steps in Reset a laptop with a sealed or non-removable battery.
-
I recommend to restore the BIOS defaults. You could restore the BIOS with this document selecting the reloading the BIOS default settings. That way it will look at the Hardware installed on the Notebook.
Once done, restart the computer and check.
Next thing, I would suggest here is to Run Windows Updates troubleshooter -
Download and install the troubleshooter from this link.
Now try to perform Windows Updates -
1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
If it does not, please visit this link for further support: HP PCs - Troubleshooting Wireless Network and Internet (Windows 10)
If not check this link out: Common fixes for wireless connectivity issues.
Next thing, I would suggest here is to uninstall the wireless drivers from device manager:
Right-Click on start button> click device manager> Network adapters>then select the wireless drivers and right-click on it and uninstall the Wifi drivers.
Then restart the computer and check if you are able to go online.
Finally, please update the bios, chipset and wifi drivers from this link: http://hp.com/drivers Please select the country and follow the on-screen instructions.
Also, download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.
Refer this link to know how to use HP support assistant.
Alternatively, I would suggest here is to run the test of tht Wireless from F2(Please capture the failure ID for further assistance).
Let me know how it goes!
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
Click the “Kudos, Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
