HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-cd0xxx530
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-cd0xxx530. For last few months the wifi suddenly stops working and when I check there is no realtek wifi adpater in device manager. This usually happens when lid is closed and then after some time notebook is used again. But the wifi network does not work. I have tried restarting, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, downgraded drivers, turned off the power saving for adapter but nothing fixes the issue. The only steps that restores(not always though but this only thing that works when done repeatedly) the adapter are when I run.

1. netsh int ip reset

2.netsh winsock reset

3. Power down and then power on the notebook.

This is happening very frequently.

Will greatly appreciate help on this. I am loosing lot of productive hours in troubleshooting this issue.

Thanks

@a_manzoor Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are facing issues with wireless connectivity.

Here's a related HP Forums post that seems to have helped others: Click here
I have a few steps to resolve the issue:

  • Since you've already reinstalled drivers, I would recommend using an Ethernet cable (Wired) and update your Wi-Fi drivers using this link

  • Update the bios by visiting this link or through support assistant using an Ethernet cable.

  • Now try to connect to the internet wireless.

The best way to resolve the issue is by using the HP Guided Troubleshooter:

Click here to access it (simply select your description of the issue from the bottom of the screen to gain access to the next set of steps that should resolve your concern).
