Hi:

The parts list for your notebook indicates that it comes with a Broadcom BCM43142 802.11bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 HMC combination WLAN adapter

HP PartSurfer

The only suggestion I can offer would be to make sure you have installed the latest W8.1 wifi and bluetooth drivers for that model wifi adapter.

Wifi:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72501-73000/sp72927.exe

Bluetooth:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp70501-71000/sp70725.exe

If that doesn't work, try removing and firmly reseating the wifi card.

Sometimes the contacts get oxidized and the wifi/bluetooth adapter loses the electrical contact with the slot.

Try to leave the antenna wire connected to facilitate a quicker reinstallation.

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure.
