Hi.
On my windows 7 professional laptop for some reason( probably a new router) I cannot connect to the Internet. My new WiFi address is not available to choose despite another around 6 others in the street being displayed. I can tether my mobile ok.
I have went through the connect new network and troubleshooting etc without any joy and restarted laptop and router numerous times.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Paul

You're very welcome.
This is the latest W7 Wi-Fi driver HP has for that model Wi-Fi adapter.
v2023.79.419.2019

The Realtek RTL8723BE is a single band Wi-Fi adapter that only works on the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band.
Make sure your new router is set up to broadcast both the 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi bands.

Hi:
What model Wi-Fi adapter does your notebook have?
If you don't know, go to the device manager, click to expand the Network Adapters device manager category and there you will find the name and model number of the wireless network adapter.
