I have an old HP Pavilion Entertainment PC and would like to upgrade wifi card. Trying to find out what to buy. Thanks

You're very welcome.
Unfortunately, your notebook has a BIOS whitelist, and the Intel 5100 802.11 a/g/n WLAN MiniCard was the best model wifi adapter offered in that model series.
Your only option would be to buy a dual band AC USB wifi adapter if you want a better wifi adapter.

Notebooks made in 2011 or earlier have BIOS whitelists which prevent the installation of any wifi card not listed in the service manual from working.
