I want to watch my portable on my tv (not a smart tv) How do I proceed with out a hdmi wire.?

Hi,

What kind of inputs does the TV have? You are going to need to use a cable. Either a VGA or HDMI cable to the TV. You can also most likely go from VGA to SCART with the right adapter. I guess you could also get a Chromecast or something similar to make a TV smarter.
