Windows 10 set on my new Omen latop

HP Recommended
OMEN Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

During the windows 10 set up for my new Omen latop, I accidentally selected the same windows user as my Envy laptop.  Now both laptops are networked together, need to undue/keep them separate data file/storage wise while preserving all data on the Envy laptop.  Please help.  Thank you.  Stewart

@Stewart23_T

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. The laptops having same login and/or being networked will not effect files on either machine. It only offers ability to view files on each machine from the other.  Unless you are referring to syncing files in cloud storage such as OneDrive,Dropbox,etc.

If you setup Onedrive on the Omen and Envy and are logged in with email acct used on the Envy you can change the settings on the Omen so it doesn't sync files from Envy. Right click the Onedrive icon in the system tray and select Settings. On the "account" tab click "unlink this pc".
