Hi folks, the wireless network adapter disappeared from my laptop today, which runs Windows 10. All WiFi networks are totally unavailable. In my device manager, the only network adapters are bluetooth, the kernel debug and WAN mini ports.
How do I get WiFi access back?
I’ve combed through a bunch of HP community posts and posts on other support forums and tried a long list of fixes, including but not limited to:
-using the network troubleshooter
-searching the device manager for hidden devices
-enabling network services for WWAN and WLAN, ensuring they’re running
-removing and reinstalling mini ports/device adapters
-resetting the network
-restoring the network to an earlier version
It seems that the last thing to try is reinstalling the driver. However, HP doesn’t have the software online. I’m not sure where to look now.
Help!
My laptop specs are:
HP Pavillion x360 m3 Convertible
Intel Core i5 7th gen professor
I’m happy to provide any more info to get my laptop back online.
