I am not able to see my home wireless network on the list of wireless networks available around me. I can see many from my neighbors but not the one that belongs to me. I have tried many things that are available on internet to solve this but none of them worked. I have spoken to the ISP as well and they could not do anything either....

Hi

To be able to see the name of your Wi-Fi, its SSID, the SSID needs to be broadcasting.

It is possible, on some Router/Modems for the SSID to be hidden.

Next would be a Wi-Fi adapter suitable for that frequency band,  2.4 and/or 5.0  GHz, and not be swamped by other signals from neighbours etc.

Could you name the router/modem so that it may be possible to view a setup manual for it.

Can any of your Neighbours see your Wi-Fi SSID?
