HP Zbook 17 G6
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, my Zbook 17 G6 seems slow with wifi-6 (AX). Doing multiple iperf3 tests, the result is only 280-300 Mbits/s. My Iphone  13 Pro shows 600-700 Mbits/s on the same accesspoint. I tried many drivers (intel as well HP), no difference in speed. I am sure the properties of the AX200 WLAN card are set to "ax".  Good old ethernet is 980 Mbits/s.

My question is, is this wifi result normal or is something wrong ? The AX200 card is soldered in the motherboard, so, not easy to swap for another.

Thanks ! Regards from NL, John

Wow. 140 views and not a single response. I guess if you want a real answer you'll have to go to support who will ask you to do all manner of things you've probably already done (updated windows, updated drivers, reinstalled drivers, updated firmware on laptop and router, etc, etc, etc) all to no avail while they scratch their head and probably tell you to reinstall Windows while they go report the issue to HP Dev which will be seen in a few months then plans will be made to address the issue in about a year.

Yeah, I have the exact same problem. Was about to create a post asking about this but given you've gotten zero response I think I won't waste my time. Will let you know if Support gives me anything valuable from their script if they don't get it confused with their Walmart greeting.

After posting that issue a new driver was released. It improved my performance some.

New WLAN driver update out this morning. We'll see if it improves it more or makes it worse.
